Domaine Magdalena Cabernet Sauvignon starts with own rooted vines, then undergoes fermentation with native yeasts present. In the cellar the wine was stored and aged for 15 months in a majority of neutral oak and 20% new American oak and then bottled unfiltered & unfined. Domaine Magdalena Cabernet captures a dusty texture and tannic structure reminiscent more of Bordeaux wine than an ultra polished and smooth example from California. Crunchy blackberry & blackcurrant with earthy sage flavors and aromas await when opening.
