2020 Field Recordings Paso Piquette Project Paso Robles
All proceeds for this wine go toward a scholarship fund that Field Recordings Winery has set up which will go toward offering $5,000 scholarships to workers in the vineyard, winery, restaurant and hospitality industries.
This piquette came about as a community effort with gathered pomace from 9 other wineries in the Paso Robles area. If you're not familiar with this style, it's made by rehydrating skins that have been crushed in production. The skins soak for a few days, then ferment. The result is a bubbly, low alchohol, super drinkable red wine with flavors of candied raspberries, Bonne Maman Mixed Fruit preserves, Lavender and Sage.
